Slate Kitchen Benchtops
Natural stone benchtops can add a luxury element to any kitchen design and are multi-functional. They are durable and long-lasting, and many natural stones are also resistant to heat, spills, physical damage and other toxins. These natural materials are great for those looking for a contemporary or modern-meets-tradition style and can be contrasted with smooth Meranti plywood cabinetry.
Marble is one of the most iconic natural stone benchtops, renowned for its luxury aura and elegant veining. It is available in a variety of colours and finishes, including white, grey, green and black. Marble is also ideal for bathroom vanities, showers, flooring, wall features and cladding. Slate is a dense and hard stone that achieves a beautiful patina with time. It has a fine, uniform grain and comes in matt shades of grey and charcoal. It can be matched with modern or traditional designs and is also suitable for splashbacks, as it is less susceptible to heat damage than granite.
Quartzite is a versatile and durable stone that has gained popularity among designers and architects. Its colour variation and striking surface texture offers an incredible aesthetic, combining dependable quality with a low cost. It is ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, wall cladding and fireplaces.
Seconds Stone Benchtops
We are a family owned and operated business, bringing nature to your home with a wide selection of natural stone. Whether you are renovating your kitchen, upgrading the bathroom or replacing that old BBQ bench top or laundry vanity, we can supply a range of stone offcuts at our warehouse in Sydney to fit the job. These offcuts are second-hand but in good condition and are sold at a fraction of the price you would expect to pay for a full piece.
All Buyers must inspect the Goods upon collection or delivery and shall promptly notify Seconds Stone Benchtops Depot of any concerns with respect to the nature, quantity or quality of the Goods. The Goods are not refundable or returnable after installation or having been altered, classified as rejected or discontinued products by Stone Depot or sold in sale/clearance.
It is the Buyer’s responsibility to protect all natural stone surfaces and to apply an appropriate sealer on a regular basis. Stone Depot recommends that all surface areas are sealed prior to installation of a new stone benchtop or splashback, as this will assist in protecting the finish and preventing damage. The Buyer is also required to supply a suitable waterproof membrane when installing any stone in the wet area of the home.
