We recently had the privilege of interviewing Saad Anwar, the Co-Founder and CEO of Senyar Arabian Trading Company and European Segment Company. A self-made millionaire, investor, serial entrepreneur and inspiration to dreamers, Saad Anwar values ​​trust and teamwork in both his personal and professional life.

In this insightful conversation, Saad Anwar shared his early life, career journey, challenges, successes and future plans.

Early Life

We started by asking him about his career and education. Saad said, “When I was very young, I moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 2003 for my father’s job. I come from a humble background and started my professional career at the age of 18. After graduating from high school in 2016, I started working as a client relationship manager in a consulting firm. Due to an organizational restructuring, my job lasted for about 5 months.”

He adds: “Until 2017, I held several positions in different organizations. Then, in March 2017, I started my own company. The following year, I opened SHM to develop young talents in Jeddah

and I was a member of the board of directors for one year. In 2018, I joined Senyar Arabian Trading Company as a co-partner and became its COO until 2022. In 2021, I purchased the European Segment company in Slovakia. Together with my partners, I took over Senyar Arabian Trading, becoming our official foreign investor in Saudi Arabia. Since 2022, I have been the President and CEO of Senyar Arabian Trading Company. After being featured on the cover of Business Outreach magazine in 2023, I started investing in local companies.

Being an effective leader

We asked him about his leadership style. Saad Anwar said: “Leaders reinforce idealism and encourage team development and growth. Starting Senyar was a challenge, but I took it upon myself to manage the front-end departments such as accounting, operations, sales and marketing. The ministry provided jobs in these areas, and as an operations manager, I focused on management, financial control, planning and development.

When asked about significant obstacles, Saad Anwar replied: “In 2017, I faced challenges while setting up my business under Saudi regulations. Valuable milestones

We asked him what his company’s biggest achievement has been so far. Saad Anwar says: “In October 2021, Saudi Arabia allowed foreigners to set up businesses, which was a huge success for me and my team. In July 2022, I took over Senyar Arabian Trading Co. This success allowed me to launch an investment company for small and medium-sized businesses, where I also act as a mentor. I have never taken a day off and am fulfilled by my achievements.

Saad Anwar shared, “Currently, I am an international investor focused on businesses and startups, and I open a holding company that takes over businesses and their assets.

We are the authors of our success. I started from nothing and today I am a self-made millionaire. Opportunity did not come to me; I ventured into uncharted territories to find my purpose.
